The Life During Covid-19 in Romania
Dej, Romania – After its first case of COVID-19 was discovered on February 26, Romania wanted to move fast to try to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Romania.
Officials hope the early
adoption of safety measures will keep the medical system from collapsing,
especially as Romania’s beleaguered healthcare sector has had seemingly endless
problems in recent years.
By November 10, officials
reported there were 3.240 new cases of infection, and 130 people dead of
coronavirus in the country. In total there are 307.000 cases, 207.000 people
that are cured and there are 8.009 people who are died.
According to our
respondent from Romania, Anamaria Teglas she has stated that “Unfortunately,
the positive cases are rising and our medical system is slowly collapsing.
Things are getting worse and worse as each day goes by”.
Like others country,
people does their new normal activities by following the regulation “Some
people obey the rules, but others don’t. Almost everyone is wearing a mask, but
there are also people who think that wearing a mask won’t help them so they
refuse to wear it. Also, some people find it hard to keep the distance,
especially in big stores while they are shopping or waiting in line,” said
Anamaria Teglas.
